For the third year in a row, we ran the Head of the Barwon head race regatta on the Victorian AFL Grand Final public holiday, the Friday before the AFL Grand Final. With 200+ seats over 65 entries, we had all boat types with club graded and masters rowers competing over the 4.5km course from Queens Park downstream finishing at the Judges Box at the end of the Rowing Mile.
What better way to spend a public holiday before the AFL Grand Final than to come to row on the beautiful Barwon River?
Look for it again at the start of the 2019-2020 regatta season. It will be bigger and better than ever!
